Make your own healthy chips and dip using Freezies freeze-dried ingredients.
This Delish-inspired recipe is simple and fast only taking 30 minutes to prepare!
Ingredients
FOR THE CHIPS
- Freezies Freeze-Dried Summer squash mix
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Pinch red pepper flakes
- 1 c. shredded Parmesan
- 2 tbsp. Freezies Freeze-Dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
FOR THE DIPPING SAUCE
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. Freezies freeze-dried parsley
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: To rehydrate summer squash, place it in a bowl with hot water using a 1:2 ratio and cover for 5-10 minutes. If you would like to speed up the process, microwave it for 1-2minutes instead.
- Step 3: In a large bowl toss together squash and olive oil. Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
- Step 4: In a shallow bowl mix together parmesan, and parsley. One at a time dip squash into seasoning mixture, pressing to coat then place on prepared baking sheet.
- Step 5: Bake until golden and crispy, about 20 minutes.
- Step 6: Make the dipping sauce: In a small bowl, stir together sour cream, lemon juice, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve chips with dipping sauce & enjoy!
